this evening, i was going to retire early and take a nice looooonnng bath but was invited to join my colleagues for a dinner at home house. it's a private club, and when i showed up to meet everyone (late as usual), i was grilled on who i was joining..was i joining rufus wrainwright? i should have said yes. in any place, it was a gorgeous place and madonna herself is a member. http://www.homehouse.co.uk/home.php i didn't bring my camera so you have to go to the website to see it. had a great evening and wonderful conversation. a big topic was how much i was looking forward to 2008 when george finally leaves office. side track..but i was talking about how much i was going to research the candidates running for president, more than i ever have before. i, along with many, look forward to the election, but who is really suitable? moving on, i thought i'd address a couple of questions that i have received about my blog 1) why are you in london? i am here because my employer is here for a month and am working out of our london office. my hours are long - i am in the office during the day but once the u.s. offices are open, i tend to follow up on emails, etc. until midnight 2) why no ticking clock? as a 35 year old woman, i am expected to want to settle down and have babies. i have no desire to do so, love my puppies and my friends' children (riley, maddie, kendall, nina, zack, alex, rhiannon...) so my "biological clock" is off..hence, no ticking clock!
