in preparation for miss d., i hit the borough market and london bridge and about passed out...the produce, the pastries, the bread..good lord. i had the best falafel sandwich of my life...and prepared for my VIP guest. she arrived at about 1, very bright eyed and ready for the day..we wondered around mayfair and marylebone, dover market was too insane for us but beautiful if we were really really rich. i took her to my favorite place, la fromagerie, the waitress hated us but we had fun regardless... then we hit some shoe stores, it's nice to pretend that 25BP is 25US but alas, not the case. we saw the best mullet we have ever seen and vowed to take pictures of bad hair in the future. we were around shepard's market when we saw the most polite construction sign in our lives... so we had to take a picture. and when people walked by us in the process. we explained we were tourists. tonight we went to mews on mayfair for dinner and loved it, the wallpaper has embroidered butterflies, very cute. good times and we decided to finish the night on the deck with a bottle of wine. tomorrow we will hit some museums and i will show her how to use the tube so she can get out and enjoy the sites while i am at work...
