today, miss d and i wandered around a lot - we went to covent garden, chelsea, got stuck in the rain which was good because we wouldn't have discovered this amazing french bistro. we had yummy soup and salad and watched the downpour from our table. we then headed over to harrods, which is interesting, bought some great wine and champagne, snabbed a few sale items (soaps, gels...that sort of thing) and visited the pet department to buy treats for our girls and were delighted to see the pet room was open and we got to see the very cute shitzu puppies frolic, trip over their own feet and wrestle. definitely got our puppy fix. we decided to cut through hyde park and were very inspired to take many pictures. danielle looks quite lovely and all the pictures of me resembled a troll doll. so we scrapped most of them it's quite humid here so my hair has it's own mind. in any case, we are enjoying the terrace, drinking rose champagne, had a tasty dinner of salad and CHEESE and the humidity has subsided and we are quite happy. miss d is going to tour around on her own for the next few days while i work, and her itinerary is looking great. we will be having more fun this week...i am taking a couple of days off to spend it with her and miss gg when she arrives on friday...so more pictures will appear and hopefully, i won't resemble a troll doll.
